“I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately, I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life, To put to rout all that was not life and not when I had come to die Discover that I had not lived.”

- Henry David Thoreau, 1817-1862

About The Strategist Notebook

About This Blog

This blog is about strategy.

This is a blog for everyday people like you and me. People from all level of societies, who wants to find an answer.

In life or in business, there will always be problems, and with every problem there will be an answer. The path to the answer will become clearer if we know what we want.

Strategy is not a complex subject chanted by some Harvard gurus. Nor is it what multinational or government do to wage war, be it between nations or in the market place.

Strategy is a thinking process that is applicable to every living being. Knowing what we want, what we have (or don’t have) and using this knowledge to get to where we want. That is strategy.

This is not meant to be a boring lecture in strategic management or business policy. This is a sharing of thoughts.

Thoughts that will help shape the way we imagine and think.

By changing our thinking, it will influence our action and hence shapes our future.

That is what this blog is about; - it is about sharing of common senses and ‘not so’ common sense thinking that will, hopefully makes us act and not live a life reacting to circumstances.
